Where to Watch

When Being Human derived from the original UK series’ story lines, it was lukewarm, but once Being Human departed from its origins, it became exciting though it never reached the zenith or relatable emotional resonance of the original. My favorite story lines involved Suren and her mother, zombies, Aiden’s first relationship, a witch played by a “Law & Order” alum and the house. There was even a LadyHawke reference so I was happy. It did succeed in knowing how to end well. The majority of the characters could be very annoying, especially Josh, the self-hating werewolf/”nice guy”, who would do something bad but was always excusable or blamed on someone else. I wouldn’t call it a must see, but I would say that fans of the genre can watch it to pass the time AFTER seeing the first three seasons of the UK series.
