In the Morning except the weather: news, historical facts, popular culture, and realistic banter instead of the passive aggressive or canned exchanges that you get on morning radio and tv shows. TWiB! In the Morning is the third podcast offered by The Official This Week in Blackness Network, an independent media podcast network, but the second one that regularly broadcasts Monday through Thursday. TWiB! In the Morning has transformed from a shorter version of a podcast called Blacking It Up, now known as TWiB Prime, with a sibling dynamic between host, L. Joy Williams, a NYC based political strategist, and Elon James White, the network’s founder, with Aaron Rand Freeman as the reasonable referee to a panel featuring the original host, Imani Gandy, a LA based legal analyst who specializes in reproductive issues, and Emily Epstein White, who is a jack of all trades at the network. Better than The View because TWiB! In the Morning has never featured an idiot on its panel. Warning: TWiB! In the Morning features some profanity, but nothing that you wouldn’t get from a PG-13 movie. Like its parent podcast, TWiB Prime, TWiB! In the Morning includes underrepresented groups without excluding anyone from enjoying the show.
