Basically a Lifetime movie for men made by an indie director–community is important, move forward & escape your self destructive patterns. The pacing was off! Too much time spent on certain elements & not enough on others! I couldn’t believe that such a smart cookie would fall for such a loser. With that said, the barber & his employee’s interaction work. The actors carry the weak story line, but not enough to make the whole movie work. Best story line is the neighbors and the barber. I enjoyed parts, but didn’t quite work for me. If you skip The Village Barbershop, you will survive.
