If you love lush, internally epic & emotional films, then I would watch Live Flesh, but there is an element of the amoral (no judgment of a character for engaging in a bad act)/uber-moral (yet the fate of that character is inextricably tied to the weight of that bad act) that will not make it easy for the average American viewer to enjoy this film. Pedro is a true auteur: an artist and storyteller!
